Message from Santa

Santa Claus welcomes you to smokeymountainsanta.com. We can’t believe Christmas is almost here again! Rudolph’s nose is so bright and he is getting excited about helping in the workshop for this Christmas. We know you will enjoy many Christmases to come so be sure to write Santa all year long. We’ve added some new stuff to smokeymountainsanta.com this year. Be sure to print some color sheets and put your name on my mailing list before you leave, or write me a letter. About Santa and Mrs. Claus: We are graduates of Santa Claus College sponsored by the Hollywood Santa Tim Cunningham and we have signed the 100-year-Old Santa Claus Oath Book located in Santa Claus Indiana. Since 1935 professional Santa’s have signed this Oath to maintain the integrity associated with the traditional Garb of the season.

The 8-part oath calls on Santa’s as descendants of St. Nicholas the gift giver of Myra to give the gift of themselves in a Spirit of warmth and understanding and compassion. The Santa Claus Oath is based on the Christian principle that it is truly better to give than receive. The Oath States, “I know the “Real Reason” for the season and I know that I am Blessed to be able to be a part of it”. The Santa Claus Oath supports Keep Christ in Christmas in the Christmas Movement, knowing that Christ IS the true Gift of Christmas. Mrs. Claus also has the same responsibilities in a separate Pledge. Santa and Mrs. Claus promote these principles throughout the entire year.
